The differences in S2 taillights.

Type 1: Because of the long excistence of the coupe ('88-'96), there are 4 models of taillights. At the right you see the first model, which can be recognized by the complete orange turning lights and complete white reverse light. This is also the light which is mostly found second-handed. Because of the colors it looks kind of old-fashioned. An expert will see how old your car is!
Type 2: This is the second model taillight. This light has horizontal red stripes over the orange turning lights. This looks already better. But still old-fashioned. Mainly because of the white reverse-light whichs almost looks to shine. Be alert by buying your S2, your left and right taillights should be at least the same! Is there a difference, it could say that the car is maybe damaged earlier. Take an extra look around the car than.
Type 3: This is the third model taillight and the first model which is OK. It also has the horizontal stripes at the turning lights but now also on the reverse light. The white square doesn't brake up the sight on the taillight anymore. This taillight will cost you (a little) more second-handed than the older models taillights. But it lokks much better.

Type 4: This is the USA model taillight. The S2 Power Team thinks this is the most beautiful taillight there is for a S2. It should be standard. But than, there aren't so much differences between S2-s anymore. This taillight is completely red, except the reverse light. It do have a red shine over it so it doesn't look so white. The official part-numbers for the USA model are

895-945-218-A Right (lock)
895-945-217-A Left
